Atul Mehta, CMD, Compuage Infocom talks about the company’s strong distribution network and how it is addressing the dynamic business requirements of enterprises

As India’s one of the leading IT and Mobility distribution company, Compuage Infocom offers global products and services of the leading brands to large , medium, and small businesses in the country. With a team of around 750 people, through more than 41 offices, the company caters to around 10,000 resellers across 80 cities and towns in India.

Keep on evolving!
Sustaining in the market is not an easy task today. To take this difficult task, the company’s strategies revolve around the principle of ‘keep on evolving’. “We need to keep evolving to be relevant. This is what we are doing to sustain. And, I think we have sustained well and kept on meeting our goals,” says Mehta.

In terms of growth, over the past two years, the company has witnessed 15-18 percent growth, which it intends to take it to 20-30 percent in the coming 3 to 4 years. “We will bring right products to the portfolio and fulfill the infrastructural need of our customers. Also, we will make significant investments on automation system processes. By 2020, our vision is to be a billion-dollar company,” he adds.

Apart from India, the company has its overseas branch in Singapore. But, primarily the focus is on the domestic market.

One-stop-shop for resellers
“We have a basket full of offerings for our partners. Providing pre-sales service, training to post sales service, we have become one stop shop for resellers and system integrators. Through our strong distribution network, we cater to dynamic business requirements of all enterprise businesses across various industry verticals,” asserts Mehta.

Compuage’s products and solutions go well with all the IT needs be it Hardware, Software, Networking, Data Management, and Storage. The company involves in market development through its large national reseller network. The internal team is well grown and dedicated and always aims to maintain the highest level of sales, marketing, operational and technical support for the benefit of their customers. It has a young and dynamic sales team and a committed channel spread across the country.

ViewSonic, Toshiba, HCL, APC, Odessy, Creative and Western Digital, has been some of the Compuage’s global IT alliances. The company also helps its partners with different programs. “Our partners accelerate and grow through our business partner program and initiative. We are committed to deliver within the timeline set with our clients and use best of the technologies and tools to ensure the work is done rightly and quickly,” adds Mehta.

Focus verticals
Compuage is focusing deeply on cyber security. Apart from this, the company is catering to all the verticals indirectly. “We are working with the partners, focusing on all verticals indirectly. We are aligned with our partners. Whenever and wherever they need our support, we are always ready to support them,” states Mehta.

Going forward
Cloud computing is soon going to be one of the main focus areas for Compuage. As Mehta says, “Cloud is a very logical extension of our business. We have already started working on it and by September or October this year, we will come out with our cloud offerings.”
