Automation Anywhere, a global firm in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), has announced the appointment of Sumit Johar as the company’s Chief Information Officer.
Johar will be responsible for leading and overseeing the vision, strategy and operations of Automation Anywhere’s IT department globally. He will provide strategic IT leadership and direction to all business units and functions, while also fostering innovation and streamlining operations by maximising the company’s internal use of its Automation 360 cloud-native RPA platform.
“I am excited for Sumit to join our global executive team as we continue to work to accelerate our Digital Workforce journey by implementing cloud RPA internally across multiple systems and business processes. His deep industry knowledge will be extremely valuable to us as he and his team maximise internal use of our Automation 360 platform, by providing a customer perspective to our product teams on how we can further improve the platform,” said James Budge, Chief Financial Officer, Automation Anywhere.
