Global cybersecurity company, Kaspersky has announced the appointment of Dipesh Kaura as the new General Manager of Kaspersky in December who will be looking over the South Asia Region covering India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives.
Kaura is expected to develop and implement business plans to ensure brand penetration, re-call and revenue growth by exploring potential business avenues in the region with his supreme experience in managing large accounts and strategic planning for enterprise and BFSI deals. Kaura will be based in Kaspersky’s South Asia office in Mumbai.
Commenting on his new journey with Kaspersky, Kaura said, “The cybersecurity landscape is evolving every second in the world and it is very interesting to see what the future looks like, especially with a team like Kaspersky who are ready to Bring on the Future of technology and cybersecurity. I am excited to take Kaspersky to the next level in this region. I see immense opportunities ahead for the company as we get ready to execute a strong strategy for both B2B and B2C segments in the entire South Asia region.”
With his expertise in pre-sales, product management, positioning and implementation of business strategies to accomplish the decided targets in large accounts and assigned territories, Dipesh will assure Kaspersky’s reach and growth in the South Asia region.

Prior to his appointment at Kaspersky, Kaura held senior leadership roles in IT companies like Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) as Director, Cybersecurity Services, India. He has also worked with Gartner Research India Pvt Ltd. as Senior Account Director – Financial Services. Dipesh completed his B.E in Electronics from Mumbai University and further went ahead and got his MBA degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
