NTT has announced it was positioned in the highest ranking in the Global Network, Intra-Asia/Pacific Network and Intra-EMEA Network use cases in Gartner’s 2020 ‘Critical Capabilities for Network Services, Global’ report, and has been positioned again by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant of its 2020 ‘Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Global’ report.
NTT Ltd.’s Executive Senior Vice President for ICT Infrastructure Services, Masaaki Moribayashi said “NTT’s position is based on the company’s ‘ability to execute’ and ‘completeness of vision’. We believe NTT is the only global services provider that is innovating and investing heavily in every layer of network infrastructure – from Mobile, Internet, Cloud, Data Center, Security and SD-WAN services. This enables NTT to offer comprehensive and differentiated end-end SD-WAN networking solutions with enhanced end-user experience for our clients”.
Gartner states, “Digital business requires that enterprise networks become significantly more agile to allow the rapid accommodation of new endpoints, new applications and new network capabilities.” In addition, “As enterprises embrace digitalization of business processes and aim for more flexible WAN infrastructures, they also require providers to proactively deliver sales and operational support alongside consistently high reliability and availability of their services.”
“We are honored to receive recognition from a research and analyst firm such as Gartner,” said Ron Haigh, President of the NTT Global Networks business division. “We think this is a validation of the success of our SD-WAN and Cloud network services strategy. To us, it is truly a testament to the outstanding innovations and extraordinary customer support by our employees, which result in strong benefits for every client looking for network transformation.”
