Targus Technologies hosted its 16th Annual Sales Meet at the Noor Mahal Palace in Karnal. The event, spanning several days, brought together over 100 sales-related employees for a productive and engaging experience.
Som Satsangi, Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and led discussions on sales policies, business plans, and strategies for the upcoming fiscal year 2024-25. The event also marked the announcement of the impressive 2023-24 business booking value, reaching staggering Rs. 477 crores, reflecting the company’s continued growth and success, with additional confirmed contracts totalling over Rs. 230 crores, bringing the overall bookings to Rs. 700 crores.
The highlight of the event was the Gala Night, where employees showcased their talents through a series of skit performances, celebrating the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie. Additionally, the Olympic Challenge Series 1 and Series 2 added a competitive edge to the gathering, fostering a sense of unity and friendly competition among the participants.
In a gesture of appreciation for outstanding contributions, Targus Technologies bestowed prestigious rewards and recognitions upon deserving individuals.
In recognition of his pivotal role in securing one of the largest projects in High-Performance Computing, Targus rewarded RK Singh, Chief Technology Officer with a Mercedes car, symbolising the company’s commitment to rewarding excellence.
Meanwhile, Jitender Rai bagged the ‘Employee of the Year Award’ with a special bonus of Rs. 44 lakhs for his exceptional performance in securing the maximum number of projects for the company during the last fiscal year. His dedication and hard work serve as an inspiration to his colleagues.
Besides this, over seven employees were awarded cash prizes of Rs. 25,000 each for their outstanding contributions to the company’s success. Additionally, the Bravo Award was conferred upon six individuals for their excellence in performance, highlighting their dedication and commitment to achieving excellence.
The event also served as a platform to announce well-deserved promotions, recognising the talent and dedication of 14 employees.
